Hideaki : A girlfriend? Are you sure????

Sakura : Seriously, would she joke about something like this?

Hideaki : Oh my…so…what did you do after you found out?

Akane : Simple, pretend I didn’t hear it, continue on with dinner and act like nothing happened, and try my hardest not to bring up the topic of relationships throughout the entire dinner.

Sakura : No, it can’t be…he told you he loved you didn’t he? He said he would come back for you, he wouldn’t just do something like this out of the blue.

Hideaki : Unless…

Amane : Unless?

Hideaki : What if…he really did find someone else…and the reason for him not contacting you for so long is because of that.

Sakura : No…it can’t be…I refuse to believe it….

Amane : Maybe she is right…

Sakura : Amane….

Amane : Maybe he really found someone else….maybe he really lost contact with me for a reason…maybe…he really stopped liking me…

Amane took the same route home that day, in hopes of maybe bumping into Akaya again, trying to reflect upon what happened that day. Did he really find someone else? But if he didn’t, why would he lie to her about it. Could it be that what they had before wasn’t really anything? So many thoughts surrounded her head as she walked aimlessly, and didn’t notice it beginning to snow again. “Here’s your chance, Akaya, show up again with that umbrella. Protect me from the cold,” but he never did show up, even after she shouted his name, hoping he would hear her. But he wouldn’t come, somehow she already knew.

She continued walking, not minding the snow. She had always adored it, how it would cover the streets like a white blanket, how it resembled genuine happiness with its innocent fall.
